[It has been around a year, or perhaps more, it's very hard to tell here. and the entire time has left young Mana feeling rather homesick. 

If one was to gander about looking for her, one may find her sitting, sobbing, sniffling, on the beach.]

'Get here' could mean one of two things. One she's from his time, and then he fully believes she screwed up a spell and got here. Or 'get here' as in she's from the Field of Reeds and well...

Mahaado materialized patiently behind his apprentice, one eye shut and staring at her through the other. What happened?

... He also misses the sanity from Ancient Egypt, modern Japan blows his mind something like woah.

He walked over closer to her, before quietly placing a hand on her shoulder. "Don't cry Mana, as strange as this place is, it is a new place to explore."

But that aside, he didn't say anything more, just pulled her close so she could cry against him. Granted he would be magic cleaning out the kohl from his robes, but it was a small price to pay for getting his apprentice to cheer up some.

"Of course," course the fact that she called him 'Mahaado' and not 'Master' or 'Teacher' raised a question of where she came from. But he wasn't going to argue, at least not when it concerned this place. Instead he simply stroked her hair and let her have some time to get herself together again.

"It's so nice to see a familiar face, but I don't know if you're the Mahaado who taught me back home or you're another of the people from another place."

Can't be his Mana, the girl didn't always think that far ahead. At least until after he died, but her reaction didn't strike him as seeing someone who was dead. "Very good point," he agreed with a nod. "I saw Set, for all of a moment, but again more then likely not the one from my reality."

"He's here too? I guess I should be looking around more."

"I saw him only once, and not at all after that, perhaps you would have more like then I," he mused aloud. He only saw one version of their Pharaoh and one of Set after all... Though a few others had alternate versions roaming around from what he gathered.

Mahaado's not going to answer. Because of the situation he's just gotten out of with Kaiba in his own reality, he's... not really keen on that fact. That and Kaiba is pulling his strings like WOAH.

"Have you learned to summon your Ka yet? Or is that something you do not do in your reality?"

He smiled faintly before nodding, "I won't try to confuse you by giving you ideas from my reality. That being said, it's good to know you've learned to call it forth. But I suppose that may be why you can see me."

He smiled at that, a faint one playing on his lips. He didn't die, so he wasn't the Dark Magician in that reality.

"I see, well. I hope you're not to hard on the me of your reality," he replied with that faint smile on his lips. He wasn't dead, hmmm well. It wasn't Mahaado's place to complain about what happened to him.

"That's good Mana," he smiled down at her, thoughtful. "So where do you stay when you're here?"

"I wander around; some of the people here have their own little huts, but I don't really have a place."

"So where do you sleep? A Magician's Apprentice shouldn't be living on the streets," he pointed out. That and the whole pomp and display of serving the Living Horus had rules of conduct and appearance you know.
