relapse into the old times?

[That's what it feels like to Ryuu. After what happened, leading to Ryuu having to bring his brother home (or trying to, anyways, his brother's exhaustion was just too much and they stopped in some street halfway) to recover, nothing much has happened. Ryuu hasn't been able to evoke a response from his brother since the event. Not by griping, poking...even walking away long enough to cause pain hasn't snapped him to. It was like he wasn't there...and Ryuu hated that. If his brother, his other half, wouldn't respond to him, treated him like nothing...he was good as nothing. Just like back then, stuck in a corner of Yuusei's mind, retreated, forgotten about. He was nothing but his shadow...he didn't want to be that again.

Yuusei, on the other hand, is deep in thought. He doesn't like how he wasn't strong enough to stop his brother, strong enough to save his double. Somehow, this was his fault...he didn't want that double to have that cruel fate. But it didn't matter if he wasn't strong enough, right? Couldn't stop his brother, couldn't stop himself...

So if someone happens upon them...it seems they're acting oddly distant. Ryuu isn't hovering around Yuu like he normally does, and Yuu's just sitting on the ground, arms around his knees, paying attention to nothing, including his brother. It's an odd sight.
