[Atem flaps a few more times before he's startled by the presence of... well... whatever that delicious looking thing is supposed to be. He's not even going to think about why it might be delicious. In lieu of speech, he tries chirping at it.]

well, I've been trying to get the DR back to life so I've been trying to set up some plots. ;w;

[Well this just got slightly more embarrassing, though also relieving to be with Chimera. He ruffles the downy little feathers and tries to call to him but all that comes out is a rather piercing hiss.]

[Good thing Atem chicks are good natured and docile when handled with care. He's sort of nuzzling back with a surprising amount of affection for what is supposed to be a wild animal okay?]

[And Chimera's lonely enough that such a thing is making him happy. He sits down somewhere quiet to pet and cuddle the fluffy chick, chirping at it in an attempt to communicate.]

[Atem flops about a few more times. Even if flight is unattainable, the ability to stand on his own two feet would be a welcome compromise. He squawks until he realizes he's been picked up... see in whose hands he lays. Then he goes quite silent as if any noise might give his identity away.]
