[a heavy bass is heard from around the corner, lasers shoot into the sky to attract attention to this new dive, on the exterior there's a bright neon pink sign changing into neon green and then neon blue that reads "CLUB DESPAIR" A somewhat deep voice comes over the speakers-]

[Flashing neon lights and loud dance music? Sounds just like Prism's scene, so he wanders in and looks around, admiring the lighting rigs and being generally curious. The Mara is dormant for the time being, but can be coaxed out if a tempting situation should arise]

[Unlike Prism, Atem would never find his way to place like this of his own free will but he hasn't been in control for some time now, not with the impending solstice and the anniversary of his turning. The mara, in full regalia, is completely on guard though he doesn't show it, with his eyes lowered and drink in hand.

There is still the more obvious reasons for being drawn to a place like this though. His desire to lay low for the season makes it difficult to feed and he's getting desperate. So when he spots a familiar face, he smiles inwardly and chances making use of his distinctive pheromones. Just enough to stir the memory and grab his attention.]

[Even in his human form, the scent of Mara is unmistakable and he is immediately drawn to it, so much so that all other scents, even the alcohol and smoke, just seem to dissipate. Although he can pinpoint the scent, in such a large sea of people, he does not immediately associate it with Atem]

[The mara lets the myrrh like scent envelope Prism, using it like a leash to draw his target in. He's mingling in the crowd because it's less vulnerable and he'll be less memorable there, to all but those he wants to see. Hopefully Prism at least will still recall gently curving horns of gold and iridescent wings that glitter in the flashing lights. And that's to say nothing of the mysterious, regal and faintly sinister look of his face.]

[Sliding through the crowd, he allows the scent to begin to guide him toward the source. Then suddenly his eyes catch a flash of gold and rushes toward it, finding that he wants nothing more than to satisfy his curiosity and perhaps something else]

[Never the pursuer, Atem remains in place, sipping slowly from his glass. His eyes lift to meet the other mara's as he approaches.]

It is hardly a surprise to find you here. I imagine you are responsible for this? [He waves one clawed hand, gesturing to the lights and decor.]

[Enter the Master of Faster wearing nothing but a skintight bodysuit and a pair of knee-high stacks with goldfish in the heels. He may or may not despair, depending on if Takasu shows up with the baby and a list of complaints about his terrible parenting skills.]

[No Takasu, just a quiet little thing that was drawn here due to familiar scents. He steers away from the sources when he sees that it's not Atem but the Mara, and that Prism is focused on said Mara right now. And he bumps into Jack. Down on his rump he goes. Before he looks up at the blond's face, he notices the goldfish. They're fascinating.]

[The Mara hums at the prospect of sex. Chimera nearly bites the inside of his cheek to shut it up. The last thing he wants is to humiliate himself. He can feel the Mara sulk, but it quiets.]

I'd rather... bend over for you.

[HNNNGH. The Mara is snickering over its deception and Chimera is kicking himself mentally for trusting it.]

Hey, man, you da one here makin' all da offahs. [He shrugs and slides his hand seductively down Chimera's back as he walks off. He calls over his shoulder.] You want some'in' from da bar? [He takes this time to casually fish a doobie out of his hair and light it.]
