[Kiryu doesn't really like the silence, since it gives him a chance to think and he'd just as well not do that right now, but he can't think of anything to say. Or rather, anything he can think of is thing which were better left in the back of his mind where they'd never come up again.]

[Kiryu actually smiles a little and starts walking toward it.]

[Kiryu flicks his fingers, lighting a small clump of grass near his feet on fire.]

I can take care of whatever might be there. That's my place, and it's going to stay my place.

[Kiryu rests his hand on the hilt of his katana once they're close,since that's easier to grab quickly than his deck, looking around for anyone shady. The place seems to be deserted, though.]
