[Rex hasn't been out and about much lately. Why? Well, he found something rather unexpected in an out-of-the-way building in the Satellite area -- his old D-Wheel. A little rusty and out of commission, maybe, but the last time he saw her she was sinking to the bottom of Domino Bay.

So he's been doing the natural thing: fixing her up. If you asked why he'd say it's because he doesn't have much else to do around here, but he really does think of the bike rather nostalgically. After all, without her, he'd still be rotting away on the real Satellite.

And now he's completed repairing and testing her, so guess what he's doing? Taking her out for a spin. Around the entire island. Wherever you are, in Satellite or out, if it has even the semblance of a road or path nearby he'll probably be passing by you at some point. Hope you don't mind a little traffic noise!]

[ooc: If you can't think of a good reason he'd stop for your character or a reason they would flag him down, just assume he's parked his bike and got off. He'll either be a) admiring the scenery, or b) fixing up the bike because it broke down. He's not exactly a professional mechanic, after all :P]

[Well from down the road all Rex sees at first is the clothes and the bright orange hair, so thinking this is Audu he slows down and stops to show off say hello.]

[As he flips out the kickstand but before he takes the helmet off (the icon lies, though, he's smirking like an asshole) he quips at him.] Thought that bike of yours was one-of-a-kind, didn't you?

Whu.... [Bike? He wishes he had a bike. And he's so busy being confused that it takes a minute for exactly who it is he's looking at to sink in.]

Wait... DAD? No.... That's too.... fucking weird... [He sighs. Giving his head a vague sort of shake.]

[And now that he does take his helmet off, he notices the distinct lack of face-tattoos, plus the fact that there's only one person who's ever called him "dad", and stares.]

[Well that's definitely enough to get him to stop. And a good fifty or so feet away, too, although the shrill Momentum engine noise might be enough to wake him up. Rex, for his part, is staring at the cat a bit nervously. He'd rather not turn around, but he definitely doesn't want a jaguar pouncing him off of his bike.]

[And this is the part where the mun shamelessly assumes that their radios somehow work on the same frequency. He looks around a bit, then turns on his rear view camera and smirks.]
