TRYING WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. If you wanted to get arrested that badly, you should have fought them and tried to stop them! You just stood there and let them take me away!

[Kiryu doesn't really like the silence, since it gives him a chance to think and he'd just as well not do that right now, but he can't think of anything to say. Or rather, anything he can think of is thing which were better left in the back of his mind where they'd never come up again.]

[Kiryu flicks his fingers, lighting a small clump of grass near his feet on fire.]

[Kiryu rests his hand on the hilt of his katana once they're close,since that's easier to grab quickly than his deck, looking around for anyone shady. The place seems to be deserted, though.]
